If you have any knowledge or if you are having/had the same issue, please interact with this. Well, seems like you or someone using your device accidentally or intentionally turned on dark modes other variants in chrome. There isn't any issues with the normal Google web browser on my phone.
I am not sure if it's a virus because I have windows security constantly scanning for malwares and removing threats. Tap the three vertically stacked dots in the tap right corner. Even the language on my phone changed by itself randomly when I google search something. You can configure dark mode on your Android device through the Chrome app itself. Furthermore, I thought the issue was only tied to my pc, but i was surprised to find out that my phone is having the same exact issue. There are 0 results about this issue when you search for it. I tried updating my chrome and deleting all the cookies and extensions, but that didn't work either. The Dark mode also works on third-party notifications. Once enabled, the apps such as Settings, Launcher, Launcher settings, and Files all turn grey.
Not only that, but sometimes it's changing the language by itself, although this only happened once. As per the screenshots shared in the report, users will get three options to set the Dark mode - automatic (based on time of day), always on and always off. I have had dark mode and had no issues every since. Now, I am not sure if I am the only one experiencing that, but as of yesterday, chrome started acting really weird where whenever I google something and then click on images, it switches to light mode.
